This year’s edition of the World ATM Congress will take place from 26-28 October, in Madrid. Deferred twice due to the pandemic, it’s wonderful news that the 2021 edition will go ahead. Egis will once again be exhibiting on stand #351 and presenting at the following times:

  • Dr Isabel Franke-Chaudet (Principal Consultant) 26 October, 15:10 – 15:30 – Aireon Spotlight Stage
The impact of standardisation on the ADSP promise
  • Dr Simone Rozzi (Senior Human Factors Specialist) 27 October, 14:45 – 15:05 – Frequentis Aviation Arena
The bottom line on Human Factors Engineering in ATM change

Dr Rozzi’s presentation leads on from his recently published paper examining the benefits of early Human Factors Engineering involvement for ANSPs considering ATM system changes like digital towers, virtual data centres, ATM data service providers or more conventional system upgrades. For stand visitors the paper will be available both in hard copy and digitally.

The industry has faced many challenges since we last met in 2019, and our aviation experts are very much looking forward to being on hand both in person and ‘virtually’ to discuss the strategic, operational and business issues keeping clients awake at night!  Whether it’s ADSPs, capacity, cyber security, digitalisation, drones or system upgrades, let’s talk!

If you are attending this year’s World ATM Congress you can visit Egis at any time, stand #351. You might also consider booking in advance a private meeting slot with Egis experts in the comfort of our WAC meeting room, designed with COVID safety measures in place, with the option to connect digitally with other colleagues from Egis or representatives from your organisation, if desired.
